The screw holds the crown in place just like the roots of a normal tooth naturally hold the tooth in place. Once the screw is in place in the gums, it should integrate with the gum and act just as the tooth’s roots normally would. What happens if it doesn’t integrate?
In very rare cases, the implant can fail to integrate. This does not mean that the tooth cannot be saved. If this happens, Wisdom Dental Emergency replaces the implant in a second round of surgery that comes at no charge to the patient.
